The traditional and most common day to hold a children's Easter egg hunt is on Easter Sunday morning. Because the tradition is associated with the Easter Bunny who, according to folklore, lays and hides eggs for children to find on the morning of Easter Sunday.  However, with families away for Easter and the start of the Term 1 school holidays, the hall is holding it's Easter egg hunt on the Sunday before Easter the 29th March. Bring your children and let's have a fun Easter egg hunt. This is event is dependent on good weather, so weather permitting.

Come and be captivated by the amazing artistic talent right here in the Tauranga and Western Bay of Plenty. This special exhibition showcases a stunning array of works from local artists alongside the incredible abilities of young artists aged 5 to 18. Prepare to be wowed by their incredible artistic ability for your viewing pleasure! 

You can purchase unique artwork and various artistic merchandise or simply enjoy viewing the work of talented artists. Choose the date and time that suits you best, the day exhibitions are both gold coin donation entry. Alternatively, join us for the Evening Exhibition Soirée on Saturday, June 20th, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, which is just $5 entry and includes a glass of sparkling wine, bubbles, and canapés.

🎃 Safe Spookiness for Rural Kids!

For many of our local children living in the rural areas around Pyes Pa, traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating isn't practical due to long driveways and sparse neighbours. To make sure every child gets to experience the fun of collecting treats, the Pyes Pa Hall is stepping up to organise a fantastic, safe, and spooky Halloween event right here at the hall! We encourage all local families to dress up and bring their children for games, treats, and a fantastic night of spooky fun in a secure community setting, ensuring our rural kids don't miss out on the Halloween tradition.
