We would like to invite the community to the Pyes Pā Hall Open Day on Sunday 12th October 11am to 12 noon at the Pyes Pā Hall 724 Pyes Pa Road.
We would like to show you what we have been doing at the Hall and its amenities and have a chat over coffee and nibbles about how the hall could engage with the community in 2025.
It is also a chance for everyone to meet and greet with committee members, members, residents, and other friends of the hall.
We do hope you can make it as your thoughts and ideas are invaluable.

We are pleased to invite you to the Pyes Pa Art Lovers Exhibition, dedicated to supporting the local artist community and the young artists of the Western Bay of Plenty. The event will take place on Saturday, 20th June 2026 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Pyes Pā Hall, located at 724 Pyes Pa Road.
All art will be available for both viewing and purchase. Entry is by a gold coin donation, which will contribute to the People’s Choice awards. These awards include first and second prizes for the young artists in Years 0-3, Years 4-6, and Years 7-10, and the People’s Choice Pyes Pa Art Lovers Exhibition 2025 Artist of the Year.
We encourage you to come, support the artists, cast your vote for your favourite artist, and perhaps acquire a unique piece of local art. We look forward to seeing you there!

Are happy to announce their combined support of the Pyes Pā Community Newsletter, who keeps us informed and connected as a community.
The Hall is donating $100 and this is to be matched by NZ Crayons to go towards prizes for the Pyes Pā Community Newsletter Easter Competition.

All Committee and official members of the Pyes Pa Hall are called to a Special General Meeting at the Pyes Pa Hall Tuesday 10th December 6.30pm.
The Pyes Pa Hall is having a Christmas get together on the 7th of December from 4pm at the Pyes Pa Hall. Optional Dress Code: Christmas Spirit - Red, White and Green or create/wear your ugliest Christmas T-Shirt for a prize. There will be BBQ sausages kindly donated by Pak ‘n Save Tauriko, but feel free to bring other items for the BBQ if you wish. There will be Christmas Nibbles and Sweets – but feel free to bring a small plate if you want to spread the Christmas cheer. There will be activities and games and prizes for the kids big and small. Join us for the Emergency Services Food Bank Drive in Pyes Pa and The Lakes districts on December 3rd Meet at 5:30pm at the Tauranga Crossing lower car park, and we'll head out at 6pm to collect food donations for families in need.
We need YOUR support to make this event a success! Can you deliver boxes and bags (small and easy to carry) to the car park at 5:30pm? Will you walk the streets of the Lakes area with us and the Emergency vehicles to collect food? Can you sponsor or gift soft drinks, water or snacks for our volunteers to enjoy at the end of the collection? Do you have a van or can tow a trailer to help collect food on the night?
